Fished a nice group of guys down from the frozen north who went out despite very windy conditions. They wanted to fish the reef but after an hour the boat looked like a scene from the Exorcist! So how to save the day? Go sharking! We ran in and set up off the edge of a flat and caught some lemon sharks and everyone came back to the dock healthy and happy.
Sharks are a very under rated gamefish-black tip sharks jump as well as any tarpon or sailfish and all the shark species pull hard. After the fight one sharp pull on the leader and the circle hook straightens out and they swim away to fight another day.
